Environments - Onstacks

Every environment-scoped route accepts environment as a query parameter.

?environment=sandbox
?environment=live

The default is sandbox. Always pass environment=live explicitly in production code.

Isolation

Sandbox and live are separate partitions of the same workspace. Wallets, transfers, quotes, orders, webhooks, and API keys created in one are invisible to the other. A sandbox id passed to a live call returns 404.

What sandbox uses

Area	Sandbox
Networks	Testnets, for example `ethereum_sepolia`
Providers	Provider sandboxes. Payouts settle to test accounts and never reach a real bank.
Identity	Fixed test identities
Rates	Provider sandbox pricing where available, otherwise mock rates

Access

Sandbox is open from sign-up. Live opens after business verification is approved in the dashboard. See Sandbox and go-live.
