# Overview

> Collect fiat into virtual accounts and pay out to bank accounts without a user-facing flow.

This is the headless path. There is no page and no widget. Your backend opens accounts, watches for pay-ins, and sends payouts.

| Capability | How |
| - | - |
| Pay-ins | A local virtual bank account in the customer's name. Transfers into it are credited to the workspace and reported as payments with `direction: on_ramp`. |
| Payouts | A payment with `direction: off_ramp` and a bank or mobile money destination. Same lifecycle as any ramp payment. |
| Identity | A local identity check resolves the account holder before an account is opened. The number itself is never stored. |
