# Privacy

> Confidential transfers and private payments.

<Note>
  Privacy is a planned layer of the stack. This page describes the scope so you can plan against it. Endpoints will be published here when they enter sandbox.
</Note>

## Scope

* Confidential transfers: amounts and counterparties hidden onchain, visible to the workspace and its auditors.
* Private payments with selective disclosure for compliance.

## What exists today

Research and prototyping. No sandbox surface yet.
